Back to Blogging and Fabulous Clothes
23 SepWhat a long, crazy and fabulous year it has been. So much to say and so much to catch up with. I’m back in school full time now and decided I really needed to update my website www.chiccliqueonline.com. Lets see what is very recent and fabulous. Atlantic CITY baby!! Me and the girls headed out to the AC to celebrate my bff Joycelyne’s Birthday. It was fabulous. Most of our days were spent lounging by the pool at the Borgata and the Water Club. Our outfits were fun, flirty and extremely sexy and Joyce, Sarrah, Vannette and I all had different personalities and that showcased through every piece of jewelry, shoes, or dress we wore. Here are some pictures!!
This picture was taken at the Bobby Flay’s Steak house, amazing food by the way. I give it 5 stars.

A MARILYN MONROE TREAT EVERY LADY DESERVES ONE: HOW TO GET THE LOOK FOR LESS.
6 Nov
So I was dating this amazingly hot guy for a couple of months and he knew a little too much about fashion so over delicious Lamb Chops provided by Kabob Palace located on 2315 S Eads St, Arlington, VA 22202, we joked about his “guyerism” manners. So after we broke up, I decided a fresh new look, and personality was what i needed to move on. Through model Mayhem I met this new aspiring photographer Yulia Gorbanchenko whose work was as fun, sexy, and different as she was. We immediately clicked. Discussions of our first shoot was on its way. As diva-licious as i was feeling we agreed on a more architectural location. The Smithsonian museum came into play and then fashion. We toyed with the fact that my hair was short and curly at that point I needed a more old hollywood look.
A CLASSIC HOLLY WOOD LOOK FOR LESS.
“I don’t mind being burdened with being glamorous and sexual. Beauty and femininity are ageless and can’t be contrived, and glamour, although the manufacturers won’t like this, cannot be manufactured. Not real glamour; it’s based on femininity. We are all born sexual creatures, thank God, but it’s a pity so many people despise and crush this natural gift. Art, real art, comes from it, everything.”
— Marilyn Monroe

As i scavenged through the premier designer sections of Neiman Marcus and Saks, I could not find anything that was quite old hollywood and dramatic enough within my price range so I decided the nezt best place was a costume store. Luckily I found this amazing spot in Annandale that was going out of business. ALL costumes were being sold at rental prices. I still had not found my perfect dresses so I settled for my favorite vintage store. There I found a more than perfect black dress with details to die for. Here is the look for less
Dress: From local Vintage store
Brooch: Available on www.chiccliqueonline.com for less than $10
Hair: Romance Curls 8 inches from: Freestyle Beauty Supply & Salon
So in conclusion, I let the man go…only to bring in a few more. Hope you liked this look for less more coming soon!!

THE CONFERENCE CALL VERSUS THE HOT GIRL.
6 NovTHE CONFERENCE CALL VERSUS THE HOT GIRL.

My best friend of over 8 years and I wear talking, so totally funny as i may find this conversation, but it is totally true. Should your date prefer conference calls over you. My very opinionated girlfriend of course screamed at him…a very un-psychological move that most women will only think but of course she did. HMM so ladies, is it ok to flat iron your hair and put on make up (pre date activities) when your date is “busy on a conference call”? On some better hype we have to agree Rihanna Has the most killer fasion sense and we appreciate Amber rose’s banging body. check her out.
BRAND NAME VERSUS NO NAME: THE RED SOLES OF CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN.
6 Nov
My heart sank..as the hard and very extremely thoughtful post about my first love was erased. So here goes…working at Saks Fifth Avenue was like a dream to me. Barely making above minimum wage we had to woo our clients to buy fashionable items that could pay our commission and eventually our bills but me…i burned within seeing all those fanciful, designer items at my disposal. It was this one fortunate weekend when the employees got to enjoy the favors of working at such a blissful atmosphere..so when my co worker Joanna slipped those $610 pairs of shoes on my feet i realized i forever owed myself to that lucky man called Mr. Christian Louboutin. He was a beauty… but least of that he was so comfortable…he was himself and he handled it with class but an unimaginable sex appeal. I had been indicted into the secret sorority called “Delta Designer Whorisim Zeta”. I belonged to that community…I had to HAVE that leather against my $25 dollar pedicure. It felt like i had diamond encrusted toes…my addiction with him began.

After she slipped my feet into thses $610 beauties i believed i could never join the cheaters club ..i was addicted..My heart decided just like poor Carey Bradshaw in that alley in LA, I could never betray this man. As the recession grew in, I starved for another one of these beauties, only to be led into web-stores carrying replicas…I decided from there on, if I could never wear the real thing, i would rather “settle” for a complete no name versus one that depicted my love in such a poor manner. BEING 25, SEPARATED AND DATING IN THE METROPOLITAN
6 NovBEING 25, SEPARATED AND DATING IN THE METROPOLITAN

So I was having dinner over at Coco Sala the other day and came up with this cool idea of blogging about all the hot spots this super cool in the 40′s dude (director of sales at the coolest hotels) and I were visiting. I have always thought of Washington DC to be completely boring, sometimes stuffy but being single (almost) and attractive and 25 makes you experience the coolest of the Metropolitan DMV area. So my first post is dedicated to all the DMV area that want to know the hottest restaurants to visit, the most fashionable clothes to wear to happy hour, dinners and unsuspecting man trap dates and for even those who prefer the online dating sites. Lets have fun.

MY NEW PAIR OF BOOTS FROM ROSS!! AHHH
5 NovMY NEW PAIR OF BOOTS

Yes. They will be here tomorrow. Wonderful Guess “Maeve” boots. Kind of gothic but I can’t wait to wear it with my chiffon dress with tights and leg warmers, a black blazer, and some crazy coloured scarf.
So now for some outfits that I would gladly wear. Because we all have Lacroix, Moschino and Schouler lying around in our closets.

SO EXCITED. SO IN LOVE.
But not nearly as excited or as in love with the fact that Barack Obama is now our President!!
